About Our Charity
Driven by purpose powered by compassion always
Shanthi Deepam is a nonprofit organization registered under the Charitable Societies Act. It was launched in 2005 by a group of philanthropists of Kannur, the institution provides rehabilitation service to disabled children irrespective of caste, creed and religion. In the last 19 years, we have undertaken the grooming of above 350 children with different problems. Their parents were not sure about their future and were helpless and depressed. God has helped us in nurturing more than 70 children to a normal life and are studying now in regular schools.

From a rented building in 2005, we have moved to our own building with land contributed by various philanthropists. The building was constructed with the support of M/s. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited who had contributed Rs. 40,00,000 for the same. As we grow further, we need to extend our support to a larger number of children. For this to Happen, we seek your support, advice, guidance and help.
